Who Won the Debate? McCain!

I thought both of these guys did pretty well, actually, with one notable difference: McCain seemed to be going from experience and was more off the cuff, whereas Obama gives off the impression of someone who has been well prepared and is just repeating what he is told to say. Although I doubt that they told him to stutter that much.

Obama's facial gestures were childish at times and he seemed to be either frustrated or lost when the subject went to foreign policy. His four more years rhetoric went over like a soup sandwich, too.

The most pathetic moment of the night was when Obama pretended to be "in" with the military and their families. After McCain displayed the bracelet he wears for a soldier Killed in Action and then related the story of how he cam about it, Obama tried to play oneupmanship. His memory failed him, however, and midway through the telling of his story, he couldn't remember the name of the soldier or his family that he was pretending to care about. He had to look down and read the name. Pathetic. No wonder people call him elitist.

All in all, my impression was reinforced: Obama has lots of ideas while McCain has years of experience. I guess the rest of the country now has to decide what's more important.

Michelle Malkin has the video of Obama "supporting the troops." Hot Air has Kissinger calling Obama a liar mistaken about his comments on dealing with Iran.

Henry Kissinger believes Barack Obama misstated his views on diplomacy with US adversaries and is not happy about being mischaracterized. He says: “Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality.”

Why isn't the MSM fact-checking and reporting these deliberate lies and fabrications? It's disgusting! And to top it off, Flopping Aces notes Biden's lie about Iraq after the debate ended. They just can't help themselves...
