Contrary to what buffoons like Chris Mathews would have you believe, the Navy SEAL Team that killed the three tangoes recently off the coast of Somalia did not "just get lucky." In fact, every moment of a SEALs training and career - and that of most profession SpecOps people - is designed to ensure that they don't have to rely on luck for anything. Only a complete idiot would say such a thing.
Anyway, Defense Tech has some more details on what most likely happened, including some detail on the weapons and operators themselves. It's a good read.
And it seems that the pirates themselves aren't receiving the message correctly. They attacked another U.S. vessel again today, but were unable to access the ship. Time for a clearer message, methinks. Does POTUS have the nerve to do the right thing, here?
