RINO's Making Deals on National Security

Democrats and RINO's in the House and Senate continue to play "let's make a deal" with the security of this nation. This time, it's Senator Lindsey Graham who is willing to help close Gitmo if President Obama agress to send KSM back to the military for trial and execution. This is just another example of the Republican leadership being on the wrong side of the important issues of the day and why so many longtime RINO's need to be voted out.

Polls consistently show that the American people realize that Gitmo is the best place to detain - and put on trial - the most violent terrorists captured in the GWoT. Gitmo is the most secure installation we have to offer, and military tribunals conducted there would have the added benefit of keeping secret the details of our intelligence gathering operations around the globe, especially when scum like the ACLU would like nothing better than to expose them. The argument that Gitmo is causing us bad press around the world is absolutely ludicrous.

Polls also indicate that the vast majority of Americans want KSM and his ilk tried in military courts, no matter what bleeding hearts like Eric Holder think. 

If the American people can see the common sense in both keeping Gitmo open and letting the military deal with the deadly enemies of this nation, why is the government so determined to do the opposite? When did national security become negotiable? Isn't it the Republicans who are supposed to be so tough on the defense of this nation?

Until the Republicans get rid of RINO's like Graham and McCain, we can forget about regaining the trust of the American people. True Conservatives need to take control of the party so that we can once again be the voice of national security, smaller government, limited spending and family values. We desperately need term limits for members of the Congress and Senate, so that these self-serving people can do limited damage to our once-great nation.

Yet Another Obama National Security Failure

The arrogance and incompetence of this president continues.  While it seems that he has finally come to the same conclusion as the rest of the planet - that a KSM trial in N.Y. is an exceedingly bad idea - he refuses to hang the moronic Eric Holder out to dry or even admit his own mistake.

Here's his new plan:

The officials did not say where else the trial might be held, but others have suggested an unpopulated island near Manhattan or nearby military installations.

Obama has maintained his support for a civilian trial. White House spokesman Bill Burton said Thursday the president is committed to seeing Mohammed and his alleged accomplices brought to justice and believes that can be done successfully and securely in a federal court.

Unpopulated islands or military installations in the N.Y. area? Are you serious? Why is it one mistake after another with Obama, Holder, Napolitano, and company, especially when it comes to defending our country? Will they ever wake up and do the jobs they were elected or appointed to do, rather then fuel their far-left zealotry?

I can solve this problem with three words: Git-fucking-mo! Or better yet, these three: kill-don't-capture!

Obamacare Finally Dead?!?

It sure looks that way.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday that she lacks the votes to quickly move the Senate's sweeping health overhaul bill through the House, a potentially devastating blow to President Barack Obama's signature issue.

Sharing in Obama's incredible failure are Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, both of whom should resign their respective leadership positions immediately. After one full year of overwhelming majority, after threats, promises, bribes, shady deals, outright lies and who knows what else, they could not deliver this piece of crap. It finally seems to be sinking in. 

So let's start over. And let's start small.Pass bills allowing the purchase of insurance across state lines. Prohibit the practice of insurance companies denying coverage because of pre-existing conditions or canceling when you you're sick or hurt. Work towards tort reform. That's change I can believe in.

By the way, my progressive friends, you can also say goodbye to cap and tax, gun control and amnesty for illegal aliens, as well. You'd better start listening or you're all going to be looking for work! So sayeth this Tea Bagger!

Year One: Lies, Corruption, Failure and Incompetence

Has it only been a year? Sadly, yes. Three more of this guy and his friends to come. It would be complimentary to say that it's been "politics as usual," but that would be the understatement of the decade. This president, this administration, has taken things to a low that even Jimmy Carter never imagined.

Oh, the lies!Hope, change, transparency, bipartisanship and a "new kind of politics" all fell by the wayside rather quickly, didn't they? His little charade of being a centrist came to an abrupt halt, as well. Were it not for the fawning adoration of the lamestream media, and the way they steadfastly ignore his lies and mistakes, his presidency would really be in trouble.

The level of corruption - Chicago politics, I guess they call it - is astounding. Is there a single member of his cabinet that isn't either a Communist, Socialist, tax cheat, liar, crook or radical nut? The few who aren't are woefully unqualified for the positions that they hold. Janet Napolitano is a good case in point. Another one just fell by the wayside yesterday. And the favors - read money - that Obama is giving to his friends and supporters, either as reward or to gain their support, is absolutely criminal.

And oh, has he failed! After one full year, with overwhelming majorities in the House and Senate, after countless speeches, meetings, press conferences, threats, promises and back room deals, he has failed to pass the single most important piece of legislation of his presidency. Obamacare is dead, say it with me, y'all! His stimulus plan has failed as did "cash for clunkers." He failed in his support of three Democratic candidates for higher office and it doesn't look like his crooked friends in Chicago will be getting the Olympics any time soon. In fact, as far as I can tell, his only success was in claiming a Pulitzer Prize that he didn't earn!

His incompetence and inexperience have also been evident. He has been an abject failure on the domestic terrorism front. Gitmo remains open - and should- despite his repeated claims that he would close it. His chosen leaders in the Intel community failed us miserably on Christmas Day and most of them should do the honorable thing and resign. His AG is a moron who thought that Americans might like to spend tens of millions of dollars to bring terrorists here and try them in civilian courts, giving them all the privileges that go along with that. His apology tour overseas has netted us nothing. He has failed with Iran and North Korea and has made little progress with China and Russia. And the list goes on and on.

On top of everything else, Obama just doesn't get it. He is so arrogant and so self-centered that he still believes that whatever he touches will turn to gold. His repeated attempts to blame everything on the Bush presidency just don't sell any more, and he looks more feeble every time he tries. His radical Liberal agenda is not what the people want, yet he pushes blindly ahead in the face of all opposition. It's really getting rather old.

I am not someone who wants the POTUS to fail. I don't even want Obama to fail, necessarily. I do, however, want his radical progressive policies to die and undignified and public death, so that America can get back on the track of job creation and economy building. Move to the center, Mr. President, and you will find find much more support. But your dreams of entitlements, gun bans, amnesty, government controlled (you fill in the blanks), rewarding your friends and trying to destroy your enemies must stop. Now.

Otherwise, we will continue to oppose you and your presidency will be doomed, utterly and completely. But of course, that's just the opinion of one Tea Bagger.

Obama Choked, Coakley Croaked, Brown Wins!

The message, it seems to me, is clear: no more!

No more progressive ideology forced down our throats. No more lies, deceit, backroom deals, bribes, corruption, paying back your friends with special deals and making us pay for it. No more weakness in the GWoT and no more charging our troops with assault while giving terrorists rights and expensive trials here at home. No more big government, no more spending without a care, no more stimulus, bailouts or Czars.

No more Obamacare; it's time to start over. No more ignoring the people while filling your pockets and fanning your egos. No more liars, crooks, tax cheats, Communists, Socialists, or ideologues in the Obama administration. No more insincere promises that you have no intention of delivering, Mr. President. And no more nose-in-the-air arrogance.

No more amnesty, gun control or refusing to say the word "terrorist." No more political bullshit; work together or get out. No more refusing to fully support our troops or forcing unreasonable ROE's on them. No more entitlements; get a job! No more support for ACORN, SEIU or othe crooked organizations that you've been funneling money to.

Govern from the center, keep your promises, work for the people and not against us and maybe we'll get out of this mess before things truly get bad.

And Republicans, if you think I'm speaking only to the Democrats, you're not paying attention either, and you'll be next!

Are the Liberals Making You Safer?

Now that they've had control of things for over a year, do you think that the Obama administration - and Liberals everywhere - are doing enough to keep America safe?

I've posted often on Obama's ineptness when it comes to dealing with Islamic terrorists. His refusal to acknowledge that we are waging a war against radical Islam - and losing- is unbelievable. He seems woefully uninformed, out of touch and poorly advised, waiting too long to respond to terrorist attacks here at home and then totally misrepresenting what really happened when he finally does get around to speaking up. He just doesn't get it.

In the last two years, he's alienated our military (labeling them killers of innocents), the CIA (by refusing to demand an investigation into Pelosi's outrageous claims of rampant lying), the Secret Service (allowing them to accept the blame for uninvited White House guests), law enforcement (we're all racists) and our intel gatherers in the field by threatening to charge them with a crime for doing there jobs. No wonder morale is at an all time low.

His Intel people Panetta, Leiter and Brennan, to name a few, seem way out of their league and, in the case of Homeland Security Sec Janet Napolitano, just plain incompetent. Time to make some changes. The only thing dumber than closing Gitmo is trying enemy combatants in New York. Mind you, these aren't national security issues, but political ones. Gotta appease those that bought him the election, you see.

Your president has failed with Iran. And North Korea. And he isn't doing all that well with Russia and China, either. Islamic fundamentalism is on the rise - and on the move - across the globe, including Yemen, Somolia and even Latin America, where they are merging with criminal gangs like MS 13. If something major happens, do any of you have the confidence that the inexperienced and clueless POTUS can respond effectively for the good of all of us?

But there's much, much more.

2010

I don't usually do the New Years resolutions thing. I follow through for a few weeks, give it a half-hearted attempt, then fall back into the same old routine. A sign of weakness, I suppose. Here's a case is point: last New Year's, I vowed that, despite my belief that Obama was the worst possible candidate for POTUS, I would support him and give him a chance to deliver on his lies, er, promises. That lasted a month, tops. Then reality set in.

However, this year, I am making a resolution, right here for all to behold, that I fully intend to deliver upon. This year I am promising that I will do everything in my power to stop the likes of Obama, Reid and Pelosi from destroying the country that I love so much. I will do it peacefully and without any violence, will make every attempt to do it respectfully (no promises!) but I will do it with passion and conviction.

I am more afraid for our nation and our people than ever before. We are waging two wars that the politicians seem determined to lose; we are on the verge of bankruptcy and poverty; we are governed by crooks, liars and thieves who reward their friends and steadfastly ignore the welfare of our citizens; Obama has failed to become BFF's with North Korea, Iran, China and Russia, and those threats are growing; Obama has decided to treat would-be mass-murdering terrorists the same as petty thieves, and that decision will cost us all dearly; he has alienated and insulted our heroes in the military, CIA, Secret Service and Law Enforcement, and their morale has declined accordingly; the list goes on and on.

We are weaker with Obama as POTUS, not stronger. He has made us the laughing stock of the world by arrogantly accepting an award he didn't earn, by refusing to confront the threats against us (specifically those of radical Islam), by refusing to do what he has promised to do, by appointing Communists, tax cheats, liars and bigots to key posts, by outright lying to the American people and by utterly failing us as a leader. Not once has he set the example when it truly mattered. The only reason that he, Pelosi and Reid remain in power is because 90% of the media refuses to report the truth of their incompetence.

I wish that I could tell you that the Republicans are better, but that would be another lie. Same liars and crooks, different party name.

This year, we will push for an end to earmarks, irrational spending, Obamacare, amnesty for lawbreakers, entitlements, blind support of "climate change" and "cap and trade". We will continue to steadfastly support the freedom to own and use a gun, term limits for all federal politicians, secure and closed borders, keeping Gitmoopen and a free and unbiased press. We will support the causes of freedom, equality and peace the world over. We will extoll the virtues of honor, honesty, service, love, kindness and integrity. And, as always, we will continue to love and support the brave men and women that serve everyday, all over the world, to keep us free.

I hope you'll all stick around for the ride. Without your support, this blog is even more lame.

Please take a moment to remember that, while you are opening presents, enjoying your dinner and catching up with family members, our military and first responders are at work, many far from home, putting themselves in harms way so that we might enjoy the blessings of this day.

To my brothers and sisters serving in the military, to our police officers and firefighters and emergency medical people, all of whom are hard at work this day, I say thank God for you all. May He bless each of you and see you safely home. Without you, there would be no America, no peace on Earth, no freedom to enjoy this day as we please. You are not forgotten on this day or any other.

May you all find peace.

A Day of Thanks

Today, and every day, I am thankful for my family and friends, for their continued support and love, for their continued health and happiness.

I am also thankful that there continue to be men and women in this country who are willing to set aside their own lives and comforts to take an oath to protect and defend the rest of us. Whether soldier, sailor, Airman, Marine or Coastie, whether cop or firefighter, I thank God for your sense of honor and duty, for your courage, for your love of country. May God keep you and see you home safely.

On this day, I am thankful that one full of Obama's administration is nearly over and that we, thus far, have been able to limit the damage he's done to our great nation. He has all but destroyed the morale of our troops, done everything possible to sell us out to foreign governments, placed us more deeply in debt than ever before, angered our allies, widened the divide between Conservative and Liberal, made race relations worse, ignored both North Korea and Iran and earned himself the distinction of being the weakest president ever. That's a Hell of a first year. Hopefully, his poor policies, and those of his ilk in Congress, will see to it that many of these clowns are voted out od office by this time next year.

Finally, I am thankful to you, dear reader, for spending a little of your time here every so often to listen to me rant about the state of our great nation. She was once great - and will be again - if we refuse to allow the rich and powerful to exploit her - and us - for their own money-making purposes. Keep up the good fight. Never sit idly by while these fools lie and steal and cheat us all. Never give up. Never surrender.
